Triumph Thruxton

The curse of the Mikuni fuel tap strikes again.

From the same owner is the Bonneville T100, this Triumph Thruxton had been sat for even longer, and unfortunately suffered from the curse of the Mikuni fuel tap, which had leaked and eaten the discoloured the lacquer on the clutch cover.
As she'd been sat for so long I drained the oil straight away, removed the clutch cover and stripped the old lacquer away, re-polished and then clear Cerakote'd for years of protection. A general service was done, including a new battery, a fresh set of Metzeler rubber, and then a full and through detail.
She looks as good as new now, I just hope she gets used...
